iPhone hacker pod2g has been working extremely hard for the untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Both of these devices run on the latest apple A5 processor, and still have not been "cracked". pod2g as you all know was working on the untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1, and released it a little while ago. But today, he and three other members, planetbeing, MuscleNerd, and p0sixninja, have all joined forces and are working on the exploit
His team is called the "Dream Team", as they are working extremely hard on the jailbreak. While we said the jailbreak could of been released this week, it seems more than likely that the exploit will a take a bit longer. The issue is that the exploit found now requires a developer's account, and can't release it because it's illegal. This is just like the Spire exploit, but chpwn was able to get around the illigal issues. His team is helping him test and release the jailbreak when it becomes available.
